IP camera / video surveillance device

Network camera streaming and storing video, accessible remotely.

An IP camera records video and is often reachable remotely, which makes confidentiality and access control the dominant Annex I requirements. The documentation set should reflect the video stream encryption, the storage path and the remote-access configuration.

Where this device type sits in the Regulation

In the Regulation's own structure, 'internet-connected cameras, smart door locks and baby monitors' are named in Annex III Class I (Regulation (EU) 2024/2847, Art. 32(2)). Whether THIS specific camera is caught by that named category is the manufacturer's guided questionnaire answer, never an assumption of this site.
